About US
Nature's Backpack Land-based Learning Centre
Nature’s Backpack Land-based Learning Centre is a specialized nature awareness company that provides hands-on interactive, experiential nature programs to formal and non-formal educators and families in the community. Nature kits provide hands-on outdoor experiences that connect to natural world and teach stewardship in their own backyards.
Weekday Programs
We offer nature awareness weekday programs for children ages 3-12. Spending most of our days outdoors in the forest, fields and meadows, where the children are guided by skilled and trained mentors who understand the importance of play, child directed and emergent learning. These immersed-in-nature experiences develop a lasting connection with nature and passion for their own community
